Czech Republic Oak Open Days

Twenty-six participants from ten countries arrived to take part in the European celebration of the IOS’s twenty-fifth birthday at Dušan Plaček’s Quercetum near Podĕbrady in the Czech Republic.

A double Oak Open Day: Christine Battle's Congrove Arboretum followed by a visit to the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.

Rain, mud, mosquitos, great trees, and wonderful people, all contributed to a successful Oak Open Day event held in Mississippi, June 27-29. Visitors from eight states gathered in West Point, MS for an event organized by Dudley Phelps and Ryan Russell

On the morning of July 29, 40 oak enthusiasts from Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and the United Kingdom met in Jermyn’s House at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens for the first Oak Open Day of the year.
