David "Dave" Varel of Albers, Illinois passed away September 6, 2020. A carpenter and craftsman by trade, Dave also operated a small nursery named "Tree Little Acres" with his family and raised and sold several thousand oaks each year. He was also a music lover and accomplished drummer. Dave was a member of the IOS, the Illinois Nut Growers Association, and several other groups. Anyone lucky enough to have known Dave surely counted him as a friend. He is survived by his wife Rachel and sons Aidan and Oliver.
