We are delighted to invite you to attend the conference “The Oak - Ecology, History, Management and Planning II”, which will be held in Isparta, Turkey, on June 01-03, 2010, hosted by the Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Forestry.

Isparta, the City of Roses, stands at the junction of the Central Anatolian, the Aegean and the Mediterranean Regions, in the centre of Turkey’s Lake District. Rose products and handmade carpets make a major contribution to the economy of the region. Isparta has good transport connections to other parts of Turkey. Antalya Airport is situated 130 km south of Isparta and there is a frequent bus service between the cities.

The first conference on the same natural and cultural themes was held in Linköping - Sweden, 2006. The conference proceedings can be found at:
