Mexican Oaks at Armstrong Arboretum

The Arboretum at Georgia Southern University's Armstrong Campus in Savannah, Georgia, USA holds an impressive oak collection (see article). The climate there seems ideally suited to Mexican oaks, and many species have grown exceptionally well. Philip Schretter, Grounds Superintendent, has written an account of the some of the notable Mexican oaks in the collection. It was published in the Fall 2021 issue of the Arboretum's newsletter.
